A panoramic group portrait of the 32nd Infantry headquarters company, lined up in front of one of the Presidio's brick barracks blocks. The wide-format camera used here was standard for army unit photographs, which were sold to the soldiers themselves. The negative comes from the National Park Service's Presidio holdings; the photographer is unrecorded.
