Security briefing before Super Bowl week

Federal, state and local agencies briefed reporters in San Francisco on preparations for Super Bowl LX, played on 8 February 2026 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara with the fan facing week staged in the city. The mayor ran a street cleanup and safety operation through the Emergency Operations Center, and the city opened shelter beds for unhoused people displaced during the week.
