TWO biodiversity hotspots, ONE destructive developer The Qatari Al-Khayyat…

‼️TWO biodiversity hotspots, ONE destructive developer‼️ The Qatari Al-Khayyat brothers, and their Assets Group, are behind two destructive developments in Albania and Seychelles. Discovery of the development in Albania has led to 4 weeks of mass protests now named the ‘Flamingo Revolution’. And in Seychelles, there’s been a change in government, public pushback and serious concern from conservationists across the world. This has now been confirmed by OCCRP, CBS & France24. Aldabra Atoll is a UNESCO World Heritage site, a 125,000 year old ecosystem, home to 400+ species found nowhere else in the world. Yet only 27km away, on Assomption Island, construction is underway on a $300 million, 6* luxury resort that is decimating the endemic wildlife. This presents a trend: Assets Group, and the Al-Khayyat brothers, finding the world’s most biodiverse places and bulldozing them for huge personal profit. Enough is enough. We’re fighting back. We will succeed to put an end to their greed.
