Michael Lynn on stage at Black Hat on 27 July 2005, having resigned from ISS that morning so he could demonstrate remote code execution on Cisco IOS routers. Cisco had the printed slides torn out of every conference programme and sued; the talk became the defining case in the disclosure-versus-suppression fight.
