🎙️Yesterday, I had the opportunity to join @reporttv.al alongside @ermal.qori to discuss the ongoing protests and the evolving political landscape in Albania. During the discussion, I explained why I disagree with the current protest movement. While peaceful protest is a legitimate democratic right, I believe it is not the right path for addressing Albania’s current political challenges. If the organizers want to establish themselves as a credible political alternative, they should take the next democratic step: organize, build a political party, develop a governing platform, and compete for the support of the Albanian people at the ballot box. Lasting political change is achieved through institutions and elections—not through permanent protest alone. I also emphasized that Albania must continue to welcome foreign investment. International investors bring capital, jobs, technology, and long-term opportunities that are essential for our country’s economic development. Political stability and a predictable investment climate are critical if Albania is to continue attracting the investment needed to raise living standards and create opportunities for future generations. At a time of heightened political polarization, Albania needs constructive ideas, responsible leadership, respect for democratic institutions, and an unwavering commitment to economic growth. Strong democracies are built not only by holding governments accountable, but also by presenting viable alternatives and fostering an environment where investment and entrepreneurship can flourish. Thank you to Report TV for the invitation and for another thoughtful discussion. 🇦🇱📺📈 #albania #albania🇦🇱 #albanian #zvernec #flamingo
