April 10, 1525, Kraków. Albrecht von Hohenzollern, last Grand Master of the Teutonic Order, kneels before Sigismund I in the Kraków Main Square. The Teutonic State becomes the secular Duchy of Prussia under Polish suzerainty. The "Prussian Homage" painting by Jan Matejko is in the Sukiennice.
