Supreme Court agrees to hear the anti camping case

In January 2024 the Supreme Court agreed to review the Ninth Circuit rulings that barred West Coast cities from clearing encampments when shelter beds were unavailable. The case, Grants Pass v Johnson, was decided on 28 June 2024 in favour of the cities, and San Francisco began aggressive sweeps the following month.
