Crowd burns a driverless Waymo in Chinatown

On the Saturday of Lunar New Year weekend, a crowd surrounded an unoccupied Waymo Jaguar I-Pace on Jackson Street in Chinatown, smashed its windows, sprayed it with graffiti and threw a firework inside. The car burned out completely and no one was hurt. It was described at the time as the most destructive attack on a driverless vehicle in the United States.
