The Apricot Spring Orchard drugstore in Chinatown
1896
A Chinese pharmacy photographed by Arnold Genthe, who worked the streets of Chinatown from 1896 onward and left the fullest surviving picture of the quarter before the fire. The Library of Congress dates the negative to somewhere in that decade of work.
