HEAVILY PREGNANT MUMMA SMILES WHEN FINALLY SAFE 🐶 Last week, we were contacted by another rescuer, Karin Karner, from Bali Bully Rescue. Karin noticed a small pregnant dog scavenging on the side of a busy road on the way to take her daughter to school. As dog lovers (and rescuers), we know most street dogs, but it was clear this little lady was new and unfamiliar with her surroundings. It was confirmed with the shop owners that she had been dumped several days prior. Missy, as we have come to call her, was left heavily pregnant without food, water, or protection from the elements - a cruel act by a heartless human. Karin, like us, has limited space at her centre, which caters to large-breed dogs (mostly bully breeds). With no spare kennels, she was unsure what to do. Together, we rescued Missy, knowing we had one space left for a dog in need. Missy is the fourth mother we have accommodated in just four weeks. We have run out of space to take in additional animals until we have more adoptions. The never-ending problem of saving animals in Bali is that there isn’t enough space or funds.
