On 19 June 2019 a federal jury in the Eastern District of New York convicted Keith Raniere on all counts, including racketeering and sex trafficking. The organisation he founded in 1998 sold executive coaching courses and had no theology at all, which is why it is the clearest evidence that coercive control is a structure rather than a belief.
