Kanungu, twenty-one years on

Ugandan television returns to Kanungu, where a church fire on 17 March 2000 killed members of the Movement for the Restoration of the Ten Commandments of God. The toll is genuinely unsettled: accounts of the fire itself range from about 300 to more than 500, with over 400 further bodies found at other compounds.
