A month ago, we had some special visitors at our shelter: a group of enthusiastic children who came to read their favorite books to our adorable cats. 📖😺 It was a beautiful initiative that brought joy to both the children and our furry friends. During this reading afternoon, the children not only improved their reading skills but also learned valuable lessons about how to interact with cats. They had the opportunity to discover how to be patient and respectful towards animals, and to understand what cats need to feel safe and loved. 🐾💕 The most remarkable part was witnessing the timid cats gradually gaining more trust in the presence of humans. The soothing voices of the children and the calm environment made our furry residents feel at ease, encouraging them to come out of their shells.
