In the middle of the busy kitten season we received a lot of sweet fluff balls and some found kittens were lovingly delivered to us. But one remote message really stood out... Two men came to us with two mysterious, taped boxes. Their story: they found the boxes on their doorstep and suspect they were dumped there. They had not yet opened the boxes themselves. Together we revealed the secret of the boxes and found no less than three beautiful adult cats inside. Two of these cuties were even chipped! After an extensive investigation, however, we discovered a surprising twist in the story. It turned out that these two men were friends with the owner of these sweet four-legged friends. They had been instructed to bring the cats to us as 'dumped cats'. This shows no respect for themselves, for us and especially for the cats. The cats were given new names for a new start in a home where they will be loved and welcome. Odin, Sven and Freya will soon be released for adoption once they are fully settled. - Dierenasiel Gent.
