The transformation of a symbol. 🦩🏛️ Good design doesn't exist in a vacuum. It lives, adapts, and occasionally, it revolts. What is happening on the southern coast of #albania isn't just an #environmental #crisis —it is a case study in #visual warfare. Faced with the #destruction of the Vjosa-Narta wetlands for luxury commercial development, activists bypassed standard bureaucracy and went straight for national semiotics. By hijacking the traditional black double-headed eagle and replacing it with the neon pink flamingo, the movement turned a soft ecological asset into an unmissable weapon of resistance against institutional corruption. It is proof that when formal systems fail to communicate, communities will always rewrite the visual language to survive.
