🇦🇱 Albania is not for sale 🇦🇱 I've spent more than three years of my life exploring Albania. From the ancient streets of Berat and Gjirokastër, to medieval castles, rugged mountains, turquoise rivers, and some of the most beautiful coastlines in Europe, this country has given me memories that will stay with me forever Albania has made me feel patriotic about a country that isn't my own. Maybe it's the landscapes, maybe it's the history, or maybe it's the people. Whatever it is, this country has found a permanent place in my heart (Zemer). It's been impossible not to feel something while watching Albanians take to the streets to protest the proposed developments on Sazan Island and the protected coastline of Zvërnec and Narta. These places are not empty land waiting to be sold. They are part of Albania's natural and cultural heritage, and once they are lost, they are lost forever. Glory to the Shqiptar people for continuing the fight and refusing to sell the places that make Albania what it is, Skanderbau would be proud. Love for your country isn't measured by the willingness to protect it for future generations. This video is a small reminder of what makes Albania so special. Its castles, archaeological sites, historic towns, mountains, rivers, lagoons, and coastlines. They are part of a living heritage that belongs to the Albanian people. I've been fortunate enough to experience so many corners of this country over the years, and every one of them tells a story. From the flamingos of Narta Lagoon to the stone cities, from the Albanian Alps to the Ionian coast, these places are worth protecting. The Albania I fell in love with is one of wild beauty, deep history, and proud people who care enough to stand up for it.
