1974. Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren's King's Road shop, renamed "SEX" in 1974. Bondage trousers, ripped t-shirts, safety-pin couture. Outfitted the Sex Pistols (1975-78). Westwood goes on to a 50-year career as the elder stateswoman of British anti-fashion.
