Speculum Alchemiae — Prague's hidden lab found in a flood

During the catastrophic 2002 floods, repair work on a medieval house in Prague's Jewish Quarter breaks through to a forgotten network of underground chambers — a fully equipped alchemical laboratory with furnaces and tunnels, said to date to the reign of Rudolf II. It opens to the public as the Speculum Alchemiae museum.
