Bolus of Mendes — Physika kai Mystika

The Greco-Egyptian writer Bolus of Mendes composes the Physika kai Mystika ("Natural and Secret Things"), among the oldest texts on transmutation of metals and dyeing — a foundational document of the Alexandrian craft tradition.
