The company bulldozing a protected Albanian wetland is owned through Dutch shell companies in Amsterdam. The same hidden owners control jet fuel at Albania’s main airport and a healthcare network under criminal investigation. All kept anonymous through a legal Dutch loophole: stay under 25% ownership and your identity never has to be disclosed. My opinion is that the Netherlands should do something about this strange law as it fuels corruption worldwide.
