Night five. They’re still here. 🦩 I’m not Albanian, I’m Dutch. But I moved here four years ago because I fell in love with this country and its wild nature. Tonight I stood with thousands of Albanians who feel exactly the same way. Most protests last a day. This one just keeps going. Albania, you are showing the world exactly how it’s done! The question that started all of this is still unanswered: why did construction start in a protected wetland before a single environmental impact assessment was completed? 70,000+ signatures and the number keeps growing. International investigations have started.
