A short research briefing on how automated accounts and paid operators are used to simulate public opinion in campaigns across many countries. The point it makes is about scale and cost: manufacturing an apparent consensus online is cheap enough that it no longer requires a state broadcaster. No commentary track accompanies the clip beyond the researchers' own remarks.
