Canada's wartime poster board

Canada's wartime poster board

A short teaching piece on the Wartime Information Board, created in 1942 to manage Canadian morale and opinion, and on the posters it commissioned. It reads a poster as a document with a purpose - who made it, who was meant to see it, what response it wanted - which is the habit that makes the rest of this archive legible. Produced as a media literacy resource.
