A guide to Bernays' Propaganda
JAN 29 2023
A walkthrough of Edward Bernays' 1928 book Propaganda, which argued openly that the deliberate manipulation of public opinion was a necessary feature of mass democracy. The video sets Bernays alongside the later critique in Chomsky and Herman's manufacturing-consent argument. Useful as an introduction to the founding text of the public relations industry.
