A Columbia journalism talk on computational propaganda, the use of automation, data and platform mechanics to shape political discourse. The argument is that the decisive unit is no longer the message but the distribution system - bots, coordinated accounts and ad targeting that make a fringe position look like a groundswell. Presented as a working syllabus for reporting on it.
