Minister of the Interior in the Delvina government

Zogu was appointed Minister of the Interior from March to November 1920 in the government formed after Lushnjë. The interior portfolio gave him control of the gendarmerie and internal security, the instruments on which his later dominance rested. He held the post again from 1921 to 1924.
