Fan Noli forms a government

Fan Noli, an Orthodox bishop and writer, became prime minister on 16 June 1924 and governed until 24 December. His programme promised land reform, judicial reform, modernisation and an anti-corruption drive. The government failed to secure foreign recognition or funds and lasted six months.
