SVEA founded in Rome

The Società per lo Sviluppo Economico dell'Albania (SVEA) was established on 23 April 1925 with its headquarters in Rome, to administer the loan for public works. It funded roads, bridges, ports and agricultural development. Its Roman seat meant Albanian public investment was directed from Italy.
