Ahmet Zogolli born at Burgajet Castle

Ahmet Muhtar Zogolli was born on 8 October 1895 at Burgajet Castle near Burrel, in Ottoman-ruled Albania. He was the son of Xhemal Pasha Zogolli, hereditary governor of Mat, and Sadije Toptani, his father's second wife. He was the third son overall but the first by his mother.
