The Clean-Up Project Lifts Twenty-Five Tonnes of Plastic

SIF, The Queen's College Oxford and young Seychellois volunteers ran a five-week expedition that removed roughly 25 tonnes of plastic from the atoll's shores — flip-flops, fishing gear and bottles washed in from thousands of kilometres away. Their own estimate was that over 500 tonnes remained.
