SIF began recruiting crew leads and technicians for the Aldabra Rat and Cat Eradication project, embedding a team on the atoll for two years inside a three-year study to determine whether eradication is achievable across that terrain at all. It is a rare conservation project that budgets years just to decide whether the operation is possible.
