Aldabra is an isolated and protected sanctuary —a UNESCO World Heritage Site, standing as one of the rarest examples of a thriving coral atoll ecosystem. Construction on nearby Assomption Island is set to begin, threatening Aldabra’s delicate ecosystem and endangering one of Earth’s last nearly untouched marine treasures. Losing Aldabra would be devastating not just for the Seychelles, but for us all. I urge you to share this, talk about this and SIGN THE PETITION: http://bit.ly/savealdabra We must act now to protect this global treasure, before it’s too late. 🌍🌊 #SaveAldabra #ProtectOurOceans #GlobalHeritage #AldabraAtRisk Credits: This video includes footage from the following sources: * “One of the Most Isolated Ecoregions in the World, ALDABRA: Seychelles: Amazing Planet (4K) 2023” posted by Amazing Planet / Filip Kulisev on YouTube * “SBC GRAN REPORTAZ ASSOMPTION LOTEL SIS ZETWAL 17-10-2024” posted by SBC on YouTube * Frances A Benstrong * Esthel Didon
