For Black Friday 2015 Cards Against Humanity took down its online store entirely and invited people to send it $5 in exchange for nothing at all. 11,248 customers paid, generating $71,145. The company split the money among its staff, who then publicly posted the useful, useless and extravagant things they spent it on.
