RATP renames three Paris metro stations

On 1 April 1994 the Paris transport authority RATP renamed three metro stations for 24 hours, with themed giveaways at each. It is an unusual case of a state transport operator staging an official poisson d'avril, and established a recurring RATP habit of April 1st station-name jokes still practised today.
