BT's Copenhagen metro on Rådhuspladsen

On 1 April 2001 the Danish tabloid BT published a fabricated photograph of a metro train standing on Rådhuspladsen in central Copenhagen, produced by angling a photograph of a Stockholm underground train into the Copenhagen square. It played on the genuine and much-delayed construction of the Copenhagen Metro, whose first section opened in October 2002.
