Google announced 'Cardboard Plastic', a parody of its real Cardboard VR viewer, presented as a premium transparent headset offering 'actual reality' at a perfect frame rate with zero latency. The straight-faced launch video parodied VR marketing conventions by describing an empty plastic frame you simply look through.
