Colbert wins the NASA space station module poll

NASA opened an online poll to name Node 3 of the International Space Station, offering four options plus write-ins. Stephen Colbert told viewers to write in his own name, which won by more than 40,000 votes. NASA invoked its discretion and named the module Tranquility, announced by astronaut Suni Williams on the Colbert Report, but named the station's treadmill COLBERT as a consolation. It is the direct precedent for the Boaty McBoatface outcome.
