Google TiSP: broadband through your toilet

Google announced the Toilet Internet Service Provider, a free 8 Mbit/s broadband service delivered through municipal sewage lines. Users were instructed to drop a fibre-optic cable down their toilet and flush, after which 'Plumbing Hardware Dispatchers' would retrieve it in the sewer. The hoax came with full mock installation instructions and a support FAQ.
