A plastic cow on the Great Dome

A lifesize plastic cow appeared on top of MIT's Great Dome on Halloween, one of the earliest of the dome hacks that would become the institute's signature form. The cow was later preserved and displayed in the Stata Center. Dome hacks depend on students reaching a roof that is deliberately hard to access, and the tradition has its own ethic requiring that nothing be damaged.
