TV-Avisen's one-legged sparrow banknotes

On 1 April 1980 Danish television news TV-Avisen reported that new banknotes featured sparrows, and that forgeries could be identified because the counterfeit birds had only one leg instead of two. From 1980 DR's television news made the annual aprilsnar a fixture of the Danish broadcast calendar.
