The Night Climbers of Cambridge

Cambridge students developed a clandestine tradition of scaling college buildings and chapels at night, frequently leaving objects on unreachable pinnacles. 'The Night Climbers of Cambridge' was published in 1937 under the pseudonym Whipplesnaith and documented the practice with photographs. The tradition is the direct ancestor of the Senate House roof stunts.
