Cards Against Humanity digs the Holiday Hole

Beginning in late November 2016, Cards Against Humanity livestreamed excavators digging an enormous hole in the ground near Oregon, Illinois. Digging continued as long as people donated, tracked on a live chart labelled 'Money Thrown in Hole', and raised $100,573. The company explicitly refused to give the hole any purpose or deeper meaning, and later filled it back in.
