Radio SRF annexes Konstanz to Thurgau

On 1 April 2015 Radio SRF reported that the German city of Konstanz was being annexed into the Swiss canton of Thurgau, merged with neighbouring Kreuzlingen and made capital of an enlarged canton, with a ceremonial border relocation planned for noon and a German brass band rehearsing the Swiss anthem. It exploited the genuine oddity of the Konstanz-Kreuzlingen conurbation being split by the national border.
